Valve selaku penyelenggara dari Steam Awards 2021 telah mengeluarkan pemenang-pemenang dari beberapa kategori yang dipertandingkan. Berbeda dari The Game Awards 2021, game-game yang ‘jadul’ pun juga bisa menjadi pemenangnya di Steam Awards 2021. Sebagai contoh adalah Terraria di mana game tersebut pertama kali dirilis pada tahun 2011.
